Sheep Break Out Of Pen In North Branford
Several sheep were on the loose after breaking out of their pen in North Branford, according to officials.
NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Several sheep are missing after breaking out of their pen in North Branford on Wednesday, according to the Shoreline Times.
Officials with the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter alerted residents on Wednesday afternoon that the sheep broke out of their pen on Foote Hill Road in North Branford.
“Please share this so people know to drive slow on Middletown Ave area - we don’t want any humans or animals getting hurt!” officials wrote in a post on Facebook.

The Shoreline Times reports the owners were able to contain three sheep, while five remain missing.
