Poppy‘s restaurant has been serving North Branford for over 52 years. Within our 52 years of business, Poppys restaurant has never been closed  for more than a day or two. Not only did the shut down devastate and affect us. NORTH BRANFORD, CT — Totoket Valley Elementary School was evacuated this morning following reports of smoke, Town Manager Michael Downes reported Early Monday.He said the source of the smoke was determined to be from an exhaust fan in one of the school lavatories. "Thank you to our North Branford Fire and Police departments for their quick response to the scene," Downes said. "No injuries were reported, and the kids have returned to the school to begin their day," he noted.
