Man Assaulted In North Haven, Taken To New Haven & Beaten Again: PD

The assault began Thursday afternoon in North Haven and continued when he was taken to New Haven, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A man was assaulted in North Haven Thursday and then was brought to New Haven and assaulted again, police said.

In a post to "X," New Haven police said that at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, they were called to the area of Clay Street between Lloyd and Shelter streets. Police learned that the man had first been attacked in North Haven, and then brought into the city, where he was beaten again. A crime scene was located and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are investigating.

No arrests have been made, police said.
