Crash With ‘Significant Injury’ Closes Road In North Haven: Police

UPDATE: The intersection of Quinnipiac Avenue and Montowese Avenue was reopened as of 9 p.m., according to police.

(Original post) NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are advising motorists to avoid the area of Quinnipiac Avenue and Montowese Avenue in North Haven due to an accident with “significant injury,” according to officials.

Police said the intersection will be closed for several hours as members of North Haven PD and the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit (SCCTU) investigate.

“Expect delays and use caution,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.
