Delays, Road Closure Expected In North Haven: Police

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are advising motorists of construction that will lead to delays in the area of Universal Drive and Sackett Point Road in North Haven on Wednesday afternoon.

Police said crews from CSX will be performing work on the Sackett Point Road Railroad overpass around 1 p.m. on Oct. 23.

“This will cause delays to eastbound and westbound traffic in the area of Universal Drive / Sackett Point Road, as well as intermittent closing of the road,” police wrote in a post on social media. “Please avoid the area if possible.”

Delays are expected to be two hours or less, according to police.
