North Haven - GSB and Sachem Financial have announced the upcoming workshop: Operating a Business in Inflationary Times, which will be presented by University of New Haven’s Ashish Kishore.

GSB’s North Haven branch will host the workshop, which is open to the business community at no-charge on Tuesday, May 9.

The program is presented by Sachem Financial, which collaborated with the University of New Haven’s Pompea College of Business to develop an online course supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the post-pandemic era. The program on May 9th will feature content from the course, focusing on operating a business in inflationary times.

Workshop attendees will be provided access to Sachem Financial’s full online course, which covers additional topics such as operating in a tight labor market, managing supply chain challenges and many business fundamentals.

Sachem Financial will also provide timely information on the government’s CARES Act ERTC program, upcoming deadlines, and updated eligibility.

Additionally, GSB leadership will provide an update on the local banking industry and hold a candid discussion: “is your money at risk?”
