Milling, Paving Of Several Roads Starts Soon In North Haven: Here’s What To Know
Police are advising residents of the milling of several roads in North Haven, and parking bans that will be in effect.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — The North Haven Police Department and Public Works Department announced Wednesday that the milling of the following roads will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 2:
- Buell Street
- Collett Street
- Forest Hill Road
- Whitney Ridge Terrace
- Lynn Terrace
- Westerly Road
- Old Farms Road
Police said temporary “No Parking” signs were posted on several of the roads on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
“These signs will NOT be enforced over the holiday weekend,” police wrote in a post on Facebook.

Police said enforcement of the no parking signs will begin at 7 a.m. on Sept. 2.
“Starting at this time, and until the signs are removed, residents should not park any vehicles in the roadway,” police wrote.

Paving of the milled roads will follow in the coming weeks, according to police.
