Milling, Resurfacing Of I-91 Ramps Announced In North Haven, New Haven
The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists to expect ramp closures for a project on I-91 in North Haven and New Haven.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on multiple Interstate 91 on and off-ramps in New Haven and North Haven starting next week.
The project is scheduled to start on Wednesday, Sept. 24 and be completed on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

- Exit 9 southbound on and off-ramp in North Haven
- Exit 8 southbound on and off-ramp in New Haven
- Exit 7 southbound on and off-ramp in New Haven
- Exit 2 southbound off-ramp in New Haven
- Exit 3 southbound off-ramp in New Haven
- Exit 3 southbound on-ramp in New Haven
- Exit 3 northbound to State Street on-ramp in New Haven
- Exit 3 northbound to Trumbull Street on-ramp northbound (near Goodfellas Rest.) in New Haven
- Exit 5 northbound off-ramp – New Haven
- Exit 6 northbound on-ramp (from southbound split) – New Haven
- Exit 7 northbound on-ramp – New Haven
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Motorists can expect ramp closures of the above ramps on I-91 in New Haven and North Haven. Traffic control personnel, signing patterns, and state troopers will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning.
