Restaurant Closing In North Haven, Owners Announce With ‘Heavy Hearts’
The restaurant is closing at the end of the month, the owners announced.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A Latin American restaurant in North Haven is closing at the end of the month, the owners announced Monday with “heavy hearts.”
Bistro Latino Wine & Bar, located at 2001 Whitney Avenue (at the corner of Whitney and Skiff Street), will close its doors on Friday, Jan. 31, the owners announced in a post on Facebook.
“We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from our community over the past year and cherish every moment we shared with you,” the post reads. “Thank you for making Bistro Latino Wine&Bar a special place to dine, and we wish you all the best in the future.”

Bistro Latino Wine & Bar, which served the flavors of Latin fusion along with a wide selection of assorted wines, hosted a variety of events, including a karaoke dance and a Zumba class in the parking lot.
The restaurant’s fans were saddened by the news of the closing.

One person wrote in the comments under the Facebook post, “We are going to miss you Bistro Latino Wine&Bar thank YOU FOR 😊 EVERYTHING you did for us [ZUMBA FAMILY] we will always cherish, great memories we made at your beautiful restaurant.”
Another person wrote, “So sad to hear this. You were the best place in the neighborhood and deserved a bigger customer base. We will miss you terribly! Thank you for the wonderful dinners and all your kindness.”
