Road Closure Announced In North Haven: Police

Police are advising residents of a road closure that will be in effect for a construction project in North Haven.

NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police are advising residents of a road closure that will be in effect for a construction project in North Haven.

Police said the Regional Water Authority will be completing water main reconstruction on Skiff Street between Ridge Road and Garfield Avenue starting at 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 27 until approximately 7 a.m. on Monday, July 28.

Skiff Street between Ridge Road and Garfield Avenue will be closed during that time.

“Officers with marked police vehicles will be posted to block the roadways, and detour signs/instruction will be in place,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “Please avoid the area if possible and use caution when following detours. Thank you for your patience.”
