NORTH HAVEN, CT — A driver suffered life-threatening injuries in a head-on crash Friday afternoon in North Haven, police said in an update.

Emergency crews responded to a head-on crash involving a minivan and a car on Middletown Avenue near Quinnipiac Avenue in North Haven, according to police.

Police said the driver of the minivan – a 29-year-old man from New Haven – was taken to the hospital with injuries that weren’t believed to be life-threatening

The driver of the car – a 23-year-old man from New Haven – was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Police said he was listed in stable condition as of Friday night.
