"Our personnel worked with students and staff to investigate a complaint that revolved around a witness who stated they overheard a student place a phone call asking a person to respond to the school, possibly with a firearm. Based on the potential an armed person might respond to the school, staff activated a shelter-in-place to ensure student safety until North Haven Police could arrive and further investigate.
"Police personnel spoke with several witnesses and involved individuals. The investigation is on-going, but currently there is no threat to the students or staff, which are already being dismissed.
