After further investigation, police determined the 2019 BMW X6 they fled from had been reported stolen from Bridgewater, according to state police.
Additionally, an unoccupied 2021 Audi S5 found on the Exit 17 off ramp was determined to be registered in Greenwich, state police said.
Greenwich police were able to contact the Audi's registered owner and discovered it had also been stolen, state police said.
According to state police, the Greenwich owner was unaware their vehicle had been stolen until police contacted them.
Villacis and the juvenile were both charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and interfering with an officer/resisting.
The juvenile was released on a promise to appear in juvenile court later this month. Villacis was released on a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in April, according to state police.
They were then turned over to the custody of the Greenwich Police Department for separate charges, state police said.
State police also noted a total of five people fled on foot from both stolen vehicles and the investigation remains active.
