Ann E. DiOrio Thommen, age 90, wife of the late Howard B. Thommen, passed away on Sunday May 5, 2013 at Danbury Hospital. Ann was born in Norwalk on September 8, 1922, daughter of the late Pasquale and Concetta Talericio DiOrio.

Ann is survived by sons John H. and his wife Patricia of Guilford, James E. and his wife Mary Jean of Bethel, daughter Patricia A. Parry and her husband Thomas of Bethel, Grandchildren: Kristen Lock, Anne, Morgan, Carlye, Jim and Brenna Thommen and Jonathan Parry, great-grandchildren Addison, and Brennan Lock, sisters Emma Cehi of Fairfield and Vera Crafton of New Jersey, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be Private under the care of The Magner Funeral Home, Norwalk. The family requests that contributions be made to the Bethel Library, Buy a Book Program in memory of Ann Thommen.
