
Anthony J. Mansy, age 100, lifetime resident of Norwalk, died peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his home in East Norwalk, in the presence of his loving family. Anthony was the son of the late Alfred and Nicolina Mansy, and the husband of the late Caroline Barone Mansy. He worked as a mason and was a member of the Bricklayers Union. He was also a member of The Pastime Athletic Club for many years, played for the Buschbaum Baseball Team in his youth and became an avid golfer.
He is survived by his son John A. Mansy of Norwalk, 3 granddaughters and their husbands: Toni and Joseph Parlanti, Jacqueline and Victor Coppola all of Norwalk, and Nicole and John Tierney of Monroe, 6 great grandchildren: Nicholas, Michael, Matthew, Vincent, Christopher and Juliette and many other loving relatives. He was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, May 1, at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl, Norwalk, with a private burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Kings Hwy, Westport. For info or online guestbook, please go to: Magnerfuneralhome.com
