NORWALK, CT — Police are seeking information about a crash reported Saturday in Norwalk in which a bicyclist was seriously injured.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said the department received multiple reports around 7 p.m. of a motor vehicle crash involving a bicyclist in the area of Wilson Avenue.

The bicyclist sustained serious injuries and was quickly found by police and medical personnel, then taken to a hospital for treatment, according to Evarts.

Evarts said police investigators are "actively working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident," and anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Taylor Equi by phone at (203) 854-3035 or via email at tequi@norwalkct.gov.
