A Jewish Woman’s Odyssey through Christianity and Back

A lecture by author Penina Taylor and sponsored by the Schneerson Center for Jewish Life will be held on Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Beth Israel, 40 King St in Norwalk.

Born into a secular Jewish family, and faced with a traumatic childhood, Penina embraced Christianity. However, after 17 years as an Evangelical leader and inspirational speaker at church services and conventions worldwide, Penina Taylor’s search for G-d brought her to a "revelation" that turned her world upside down. About 12 years ago, she embraced Judaism.

Penina’s incredible story, which is at times more unbelievable than fiction, is a tale of divine providence, spirituality and a tenacious search for truth.

An author, speaker, and Executive Director of Shomrei Emet Institute and Torah Life Strategies, Penina regularly answers questions from Jews and non-Jews alike on Jewish/Christian Polemics, Israel and its relationship with Evangelical Christianity, developing an intimate relationship with G-d, finding balance and fulfillment in life as well as many other inspirational topics.

The lecture, entitled "Coming Full Circle - a Jewish Woman’s Odyssey through Christianity and Back," will be held on Nov. 7, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. and is the story of author and international lecturer Penina Taylor.

The Lecture is sponsored by the Schneerson Center for Jewish Life, CT and will be held at Beth Israel, 40 King Street, Norwalk, CT. 

The cost is $10 advance at www.schneersoncenter.org and $12 at the door. Event sponsorship is $180 and includes a copy of Penina’s book Coming Home.  Light refreshments will be served.
