Crack Cocaine Found During Search Of Norwalk Apartment: Police
Police said a Norwalk man was arrested after officers found loose and individually packed crack cocaine during a search of his apartment.

NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was arrested Thursday after officers found loose and individually packed crack cocaine during a search of his apartment, according to police.
In a news release, Police Lt. Tomasz Podgorski said officers executed a search and seizure warrant at a North Main Street apartment following "a lengthy narcotics investigation."
During their investigation, officers discovered the resident, Jacob Beach, 58, of Norwalk, was selling narcotics both from the apartment and on nearby streets, Podgorski said.

Officers detained Beach in front of the building while they searched his apartment, during which they found 6.87 grams of loose crack cocaine and 3.45 grams of crack cocaine individually packed in 12 bags, according to Podgorski.
Beach was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

His bond was set at $55,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court later this month, according to Podgorski.
