Former CT Oilers Hockey Defenseman Commits to UConn
Adam Karashik, who played two seasons with the team and on USA Hockey's New England District's 17U team, committed for the fall of 2018.

Adam Karashik of Ridgefield, a former defenseman with the Connecticut Oilers hockey team in Norwalk, has committed to the University of Connecticut for the fall of 2018, where he’ll play on the hockey team.
Karashik had played for the Connecticut Oilers for the last two seasons, and in the 2014-15 season he played with Oilers 18U team. That team competed in the Tier 1 AAA Atlantic Youth Hockey League and the Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League.
In mid-season, Karashik was called up to play with the CT Oilers Eastern Hockey League Junior A team. He practiced and continued his development with the CT Oilers EHL team under Head Coach Eric Lind.

Karashik is also a member the USA Hockey’s New England Districts 17U Selects Team for 2014-15 season.
The Connecticut Oilers, based in the SoNo Ice House in Norwalk, is a Tier 1 AAA ice hockey program playing mostly across the Northeast. The Oilers organization calls the team “the best way to college hockey,” adding its “No. 1 goal is the development of our players not only on the ice but also off the ice and advancing them to the next level.”
