Democratic mayoral candidate Harry Rilling filed his official campaign finance report on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 showing that he has collected $36,380 in donations in the September-October reporting period.
“I have been amazed at the generous response of so many personal friends, community activists and leaders in Norwalk during my fundraising efforts,” Rilling said in a release. “These results prove that the people want new leadership for a better Norwalk.”
The Rilling campaign recently opened its new headquarters at 25 Van Zant Street and, according to the release, the office is constantly active with volunteers who are phoning and knocking on doors to spread the campaign’s message.
