Police said a man accused of "lewd conduct" on a public bus in Norwalk this week has been identified.

NORWALK, CT — A man accused of "lewd conduct" on a public bus in Norwalk this week has been identified, according to police.
In a Facebook post, police said the incident on the bus occurred Tuesday, and the man was last seen at the South Norwalk Train Station.
In an update to the original post, police said late Wednesday morning the man has been identified.

"We thank the public for their assistance," police said on Facebook. "This case is still under investigation at this time."
Police did not provide further information about the incident or the man's identity.
