Mary Mansy, 73, Greenwich High Graduate

Mary Mansy, age 73 of Norwalk, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 23, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of John A. Mansy for 50 years. 

Mary was born in Greenwich on February 11, 1940, the daughter of the late Ermenegildo and Angelina Versace and has lived in Norwalk for most of her life.  She was a graduate of Greenwich High School, Class of 1952 and had worked at Business Journals in Norwalk for several years.  Mary loved watching her grandchildren’s baseball games, trips to the casino, enjoying time on the boat with her husband, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by her three daughters and their husbands; Toni and Joseph Parlanti, Jacqueline and Victor Coppola, all of Norwalk, and Nicole and John Tierney of Monroe, her beloved grandchildren Nicholas, Michael, Matthew, Vincent, Christopher and Juliette, her sisters Emma Pangia of Ridgefield and Frances Judice of Riverside and several nieces and nephews.  Mary was also predeceased by her brothers Andrew, Salvatore and Dominick Versace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 27, 10:30 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr.
