Mayoral Debate Double-Feature Scheduled for Tuesday
The 2nd and 3rd of three debates between incumbent Mayor Moccia (R) who is seeking a fifth term in office versus retired Police Chief Rilling (D) both take place Tuesday, Oc. 29.
Republican Incumbent Mayor Richard Moccia will debate his Democratic challenger Harry Rilling twice on Tuesday, October 29.
The second of three debates takes place at 7:30a.m. and is sponsored by the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce and The Hour newspapers. It will be held at the Norwalk Inn.
The third and final debate takes place from 7:00-9:00p.m. and is sponsored by the Norwalk League of Women’s Voters. It will be held at City Hall’s Community Room.
This forum will provide the opportunity for the candidates to state and debate positions on various issues, as well as respond to questions from the media panel which includes The Hour, Connoisseur Media and News 12/Cablevision.
