Norwalk House Fire Displaces 11, Fire Officials Say
The blaze was reported early Tuesday morning.

NORWALK, CT — A fire early Tuesday morning displaced 11 residents from a single-story home in Norwalk, according to fire officials.
Norwalk firefighters responded to the structure fire on Adams Lane at approximately 1:55 a.m. As firefighters arrived, they saw heavy smoke coming from the roof and eaves, with visible fire on the first floor.
Authorities said the fire is believed to have started in the basement before extending to the first floor through concealed spaces. Crews were able to contain the blaze and prevent it from reaching the attic.

No injuries were reported.
A total of 26 firefighters responded to the incident as part of a first alarm assignment. Norwalk EMS was on standby during the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Norwalk Fire Marshal Division.
