Celebrities, such as Kim Basinger and Serena Williams, can be seen in national campaigns supporting the importance of reading in libraries across the country, but did you know that over the years, the Norwalk Library has had its own campaign featuring celebrities as well?
If you look throughout the building, you'll see posters encouraging residents to visit the library featuring the faces and quotes of "Bring it On" and "Guys with Kids" actor Jesse Bradford, who grew up in Norwalk and used to work at the library, sports writer Jack Cavanaugh, who said that he used the library extensively to research his book "Tunney," and local author Lauren Tarshis. And, last but certainly not least, Mayor Richard Moccia also appears in the campaign.
