Norwalk Man Accused Of Sexual Assault Of A Minor: Police
Norwalk police began investigating the case in February.
NORWALK, CT — A 36-year-old Norwalk man has been arrested on a warrant on charges of fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor, in connection with a three-month investigation, according to authorities.
The suspect was arrested over the weekend during a felony motor vehicle stop, and stands accused sexually assaulting "a close family member who is also a minor."
Norwalk police began investigating the case in February.

"This relative fell asleep while in the car at a gas station in South Norwalk," police wrote in a news release. "Another minor family member was also asleep in the car at that time. One of those minors woke up to [the suspect] touching them inappropriately."
The suspect was held in lieu of bail of $25,000, and was scheduled to be arraigned in Stamford Superior Court on Monday.
