Norwalk Police To Hold Citizen Police Academy
Participants will get an inside look at police operations, ride along with an on-duty officer, tour Norwalk police headquarters and more.
NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Police Department will hold its annual citizen police academy at Norwalk Police Headquarters, located on Monroe Street, starting Oct. 16.
According to a news release provided by the department, the free program will be held Tuesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., totaling 10 sessions.
Participants will get an inside look at police operations, ride along with an on-duty police officer, get to know police executives, view live demonstrations and tour Norwalk police headquarters, according to the department.

Advanced registration is required. Participants must be a Norwalk resident and 18 years or older.
