Norwalk Spring Curbside Yard Waste Collection 2025: What Residents Need To Know
The city has released details for its spring curbside yard waste collection, which begins this month. Here's what residents should know.

NORWALK, CT — The city has released details for its 2025 spring curbside yard waste collection, which begins this week in Norwalk.
According to the city's Facebook page, the curbside yard waste collection is for residents who routinely receive garbage and recycling collection.
Here is the spring 2025 schedule, according to the city:

- Week of April 14: For Thursday and Friday collection days.
- Week of May 5: For Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday collection days.
- Week of May 12: For Thursday and Friday collection days.
Residents are asked to have their waste at the curb by 6 a.m. on the Monday of their collection week and it will be collected sometime during that week, according to the city.

- Do not mix yard waste with garbage.
- Leaves must be in paper bags or garbage cans without lids.
- Leaves will not be collected if they are in plastic bags.
- Only bundled brush under 4 feet will be collected.
- Loose leaves, logs, stumps, rocks, soil, mulch and lumber will not be collected.
