Padraig (Patrick) J. Gannon, age 73 passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Padraig was born in Tubbercurry, Sligo, Ireland on July 29, 1939 to the late Patrick and Rose (Leonard) Gannon.
Patrick was a Vietnam Veteran who worked as a carpenter for over 47 years with St. Charles Kitchens in Pound Ridge and later with Putnam Kitchens in Greenwich. Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Valerie Marcia (Fletcher) Gannon, and son Kevin, both of Norwalk, a brother Joseph and sister Betty Stinchon of England, nieces Patty of Brooklyn and Kris of Bridgeport, and many nieces and nephews in Ireland. In addition to his parents He was predeceased by brother Frank, and sisters Marion Schlegel and Rosaleen Seevers.
Calling hours will be Sunday, June 2, 2013 from 4 to 6 pm at The Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 10:30 in St. Philip Church, Norwalk.
