Potito Coluccelli, age 61 and loving husband of Michele Taccone Coluccelli, died Thursday, June 13 at Aurora Senior Living.
He was born on May 22, 1952 in Tripoli, Lybia, the son of the late Giuseppe and Maddalena Boccia Coluccelli and has lived locally since 1972. Potito worked for CDS and Eurostar and also loved to work as an auto mechanic.
He loved music and played bass guitar. He also enjoyed gardening, hunting and time with his family.
Survivors also include a daughter, Lucia M. Coluccelli, a son, Potito A. Coluccelli, all of Norwalk, a brother, Vincent Coluccelli of FL, a sister, Antonia Hartnett of MD, a granddaughter, Lorelai Y. Coluccelli and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 18, 9:30 AM at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. Potito’s family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk.
