Robert “Bobby” Lewis Miles, Jr., 54 of Norwalk, died suddenly on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
Born in Greenwich, the son of Robert and Barbara (Brown) Miles of Riverside, he was a graduate of Wright Tech, and worked for Bella Plumbing and Heating. Bobby married his best friend Sandi (Robinson) Miles and was her loving husband for the last 33 ½ years. He was a trustee of the Eagles Club – Aerie #588, and a past member of the Pastime Club and Knights of Columbus.
Bobby enjoyed vegetable gardening, cooking and especially enjoyed annual vacations with Sandi to Key West, Aruba and Rhode Island. In addition to his wife and parents, Bobby is survived by his sister Lisa (Miles) O’Connor and her husband John of Cos Cob, and their son Shane, a sister-in-law, Wendy Venieri and her husband Lewis of Greenwich and their daughters Amanda and Kristina, his mother-in-law Caroline Robinson of Greenwich, predeceased by his father-in-law James Robinson. He also leaves Baylee, Keywee and Puzzle.
His family will receive friends on Monday, June 10 from 4 to 8 pm in the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
