Rowayton Civic Association First-Ever "Oktoberfest" Set for Oct. 12
Head to the Rowayton Community Center for a parade and authentic German food, beer and music on Saturday, Oct. 12. Space is limited. Order tickets now.
The Spirit of Oktoberfest comes to the Rowayton Community Center on Saturday, October 12 from 4:30-10:00pm. The festivities will begin at 4:30 with a short parade through town behind a horse drawn carriage. Those that are dressed in traditional German garb (lederhosen & Dirndls) are invited to march.
At 5:30p.m. the party starts the the community center with authentic German food, beer, and music you’ll feel like you took a trip to Munchen for a stroll at the Wiesen.
Those that opt-out can meet at 5:30 at the TENT for the ceremonial tapping of the kegs. We’ll sing, we’ll dance, we’ll eat, and we’ll PROST!
