Spider Man. Spider Man. Does Whatever a Spider Can.
Spider-Man will swoop down on the Aquarium on Saturday. And Superman will play on IMAX®, making Sat., Oct. 26 "Super Saturday."

The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk presents two of the world’s greatest superheroes on "Super Saturday" Oct. 26. One hero will be on the giant IMAX® movie screen and another will appear live and in person.
Marvel Comics is sending its officially licensed Spider-Man character to meet Maritime Aquarium visitors and pose for photos. And Superman is defending truth, justice and the American way via the Hollywood blockbuster “Man of Steel,” playing for one final weekend on the Aquarium’s six-story IMAX screen.
Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume when they come to meet Spider-Man, the famed web-slinger, between 11 a.m. & 3 p.m. Saturday. Captain LivingSound, the Aquarium’s masked crusader for a healthy Long Island Sound, will be on hand too.

Spider-Man’s appearance is free with Aquarium admission: $19.95 for adults, $17.95 for youths (13-17) & seniors (65+), and $12.95 for children 3-12. Kids 2 & under are admitted free.
Meanwhile, over in The Maritime Aquarium’s IMAX Theater, the Superman story is playing out in the Hollywood film “Man of Steel” at 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This is the final weekend for “Man of Steel,” which has been digitally remastered into the unsurpassed IMAX format. The Maritime Aquarium has the largest IMAX Theater in Connecticut, with a screen that’s six stories high and eight stories wide.
Henry Cavill dons the red “S” in this version, as a young man who journeys to discover where he came from and what heroic tasks he was sent to Earth to perform. The film’s A-list supporting cast includes Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Dianne Lane and Kevin Costner.
“Man of Steel” is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence, action and destruction, and also for some language.
Tickets for “Man of Steel” are $11.50 for adults, $10.50 for youths (13-17) & seniors (65+), and $9.50 for ages 12 & under.
To combine an Aquarium visit with a screening of “Man of Steel,” tickets are $31.45 for adults, $28.45 for youths & seniors, and $22.45 for children.
