Crankie Frankie brings his wares to the Oxford Arts & Crafts Fair

Meet another of our great crafters: Handcrafted by Crankie Frankie! We don't know how crankie he really is, but any artisan who can create such beautiful works of art is ok by us!

Frank Ladyko is a lifelong resident of Oxford, CT. He was a heavy equipment and automobile mechanic by trade, as well as a skilled painter. Frank has always embraced hobbies that allowed him to work with his hands. He began restoring classic cars and trucks as a teen which is a passion of his that continues to this day.

After retirement, Frank decided to pursue his long-time interest in wood-turning, which stemmed from his introduction to woodworking in high school shop class.

Frank’s handcrafted creations showcase the inherent beauty of wood while also incorporating other materials such as glass and resin. Each handmade piece is completely unique and would make a great gift for any special occasion or a marvelous art piece to add to your own home décor.
