Michael Gugger, 57, of Bridgeport, was charged with DUI and failure to drive in the proper lane on June 20 at approximately 10:47 p.m. after a motor vehicle accident in Oxford.According to police, Gugger was traveling south on Riggs Street when he veered off the right side of the road and collided with a rock wall. Gugger tried to continue driving after the accident, but his engine stalled less than a half-mile from the accident. There were no injuries reported.Gugger was released on $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Derby Superior Court on July 5.
