St. Thomas the Apostle Church Ministry to Host Wellness Seminar

From St. Thomas the Apostle Church:

The Parish Nurse Ministry of St. Thomas the Apostle Church will be holding a health and wellness seminar on Friday, June 17 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Church Hall at 733 Oxford Rd. in Oxford.There will be blood pressure checks and fall prevention assessments from 6:30-7 p.m., after which, the program will begin with the first speaker, Stacey Leary, RD, CNSC, CD-N, coordinator of nutritional services for the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital, who will discuss healthy eating. There will also be a presentation on CPR as well as another presentation on smoking and the dangers of e-cigarettes. Admission is free.
