Echo Hose Ambulance along with the Shelton Fire Departments and Police Department want to help outside of the city.
They are collaborating to collect and assemble care packages that will be sent to the EMS, Fire and Police Departments of Moore, Okla.
"When tragedy hits, first responders reach out to support each other, even from across the country," said Jeff Caporaso, a city EMT.
Care packages will be created with various themes from food, personal hygiene, cleaning supplies, and can be purchased new from the store or be from your own personal supply as long as donations are unopened.
"We are also including cards to show support and thanks for the service that EMTs, Firefighters and Police Officers do even in the midst of personal struggle," he said.
There will be various drop-off locations at the Shelton Police Department, the four Fire Houses and at Echo Hose Ambulance.
Non-perishable, easy to pack and travel food, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, adult sized t-shirts, socks, underwear, tank tops, feminine hygiene items, diapers are among the items needed.
