Man Thrown Off Derby Shelton Bridge: Police
The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

SHELTON, CT — A man was thrown off the Derby Shelton Bridge after a fight early Thursday morning, police said.
Police responded to the bridge around 1 a.m. for a report of a male in the water. According to police, a 30-year-old Monroe man was pulled to the shore by emergency responders and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries.
Police say an investigation found the man was thrown off the bridge after an altercation. According to police, there were witnesses to the event and are asking anyone with information to contact police at 203-924-1544.
