A Shelton woman is accused of bouncing a rent check.
Raquel Montalvo, 44, of Country Place, is charged with third-degree larceny and issuing a bad check.
Police said Montalvo wrote a check for $5,700 that was returned for insufficient funds on May 7.
Montalvo is free on a written promise to appear in Derby Superior Court.
