A spy for the Redcoats was captured by the 6th Regiment at a Fourth of July party at Wayne and Lynda Pasquarella's Shelton home Saturday.
Soldiers took away the traitor's beer before interrogating him and his wife and taking him away as a prisoner of war.
The party was saved.
