At the CCC West Championships Wednesday, Simsbury sophomore Riley Brayton, makes it over at 10"6,' a personal record she set earlier in the season.
She had already won the meet but continued to try and set a new personal record.
According to her mom, Riley, who is also a gymnast at Gymnastic Training Center, appreciates how gymnastics prepares her for pole vaulting. She also loves the team aspect of track.
