Anything Preppy Opens In Simsmore Tennis Facility

Robin Cowling and Paula Kille have opened the Anything Preppy boutique inside the Simsmore Tennis Facility on Hopmeadow Street. 

The store features women's clothing, jewelry, bags, accessories and more. 

"We wanted to have a little bit of a country club look," Cowling said. "It's kind of a neat little boutique." 

For about two years the two women have run an internet site but after talking to facility owner Tim Roark, decided to open the store. 

Friday night, the business hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting and asked selectmen Nancy Haase, who is also running for first selectman, to do the honors. 

The store at 530 Hopmeadow St., is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
