Join Library Staff for a 3D Printing workshop! Limited to adults and teens 13+ years of age (teens must be registered for the class with a parent/caregiver.)
Our staff will teach you some basic functions in the Bambu Labs 3D printing software, so that you will be able to print your project on your own in the makerspace at a later time. Staff will perform a demonstration on the Dremel printer during the workshop.
Space is limited for this class, registration required.
Anyone taking the class will need to fill out an Innovators’ Workshop Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement. You can fill out the forms before training by <a href="https://www.simsburylibrary.info/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/IW-Liability-Waiver-and-Hold-Harmless-Agreement-September-2022.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">downloading here</a>, or arrive early to fill out the paperwork at the start of training in the makerspace.
Interested teens can also be trained with an accompanying parent. Join Maker-in-Residence, Ava Rodrigues, for a special Parent/Child Cricut demo to learn the Cricut Design Space software in the Technology Learning Center and you'll learn how to make your own stickers. Limited to adults and children 9+ years of age.
Ava will teach you some basic and intermediate Cricut functions in a family-friendly way with the Cricut Design Space software and you will learn to design and make your own stickers. Ava will be demonstrating sticker creation, but there will not be time to make your own projects in class. You will have the skills to create in the makerspace at a later time! 
Space is limited for this class, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Drop-in to the Innovators' Workshop to get an overview of the Cricut Maker with Ava Rodrigues, Maker-in-Residence!
Ava will give demonstrations using the Cricut Maker. She will demonstrate how a design is created in the software and will show some projects that are possible with our Cricut equipment.
Anyone participating in the demonstration will need to fill out an Innovators’ Workshop Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement.
