Flowers and a sign mark the location <a href="https://simsbury.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/man-dies-following-early-morning-crash-on-owens-brook-boulevard" rel="nofollow">where a young Simsbury man fatally crashed </a>his vehicle early Wednesday morning. <a href="https://simsbury.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/simsbury-man-identified-as-driver-in-fatal-crash" rel="nofollow">22 -year-old Douglas Hesketh was fatally injured</a> when he crashed his vehicle on Owens Brook Boulevard. The passenger, Michael D. Nathan of Simsbury, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Saint Francis Hospital. A resident on Horseshoe Circle, just behind where the crash took place, <a href="https://simsbury.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/fatal-simsbury-crash-it-seemed-to-go-on-forever" rel="nofollow">was woken by the sounds of the crash and called 911</a>. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, according to Simsbury Police.
