Letter to the Editor: Folk for State Representative

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Charity Folk for candidate of the 16th District as our State Representative.

I have known Charity as a friend and business colleague for over 15 years. I have worked with her as leader in the community and an advocate for business and I cannot think of a better person to represent Simsbury in the State Legislature. 

Over the past several years I have been thankful that Simsbury has worked so hard to bring regulations that promote development and business to our community, Charity has been such a proponent and supporter of that process.   Businesses are being burdened over and over, Charity knows and understands this oh too well, she has been a part of it, prevailing at the Simsbury Chamber even with the ups and downs of the economy for over 20 years. She gets it, she has a great ability to pull parties together, collaborate and move a subject forward.

Charity’s children have attended our public schools and she has been a leader in the maintaining our current Best Places to Live in the Hartford area.  Our Community is important to her and she takes pride in promoting downtown, its businesses and its accessibility. Again, she gets it.

So let’s join together and put her in the State Capital because “She Gets IT ! “  SUPPORT Charity in her Election for State Representative of the 16^th District,  Thank you.
