The Simsbury Police Department and Conn. Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services found Simsbury businesses to be compliant with federal tobacco laws regarding age during a recent spot check at seven Simsbury tobacco retailers, according to a statement. The following businesses were included in the investigation: <ul><li> CVS at 716 Hopmeadow Street </li><li>Gibbs Enterprises (Mobil) at 955 Hopmeadow Street </li><li>Gulf Express at 125 West Street </li><li>Pride at 518 Hopmeadow Street </li><li>Shell Quick Stop at 12 Albany Turnpike </li><li>Simsbury Service Center (Keyes Mobil) at 404 Hopmeadow Street </li><li>Sunrise Convenience Store at 1225 Hopmeadow Street </li></ul>"There were no violations of C.G.S. 53-344(b) Sale of Tobacco to person under 18 years of Age," the statement said.
