Rep. Hampton to Hold 'State Rep. on Your Corner'

State Representative John K. Hampton will host a “State Rep. on Your Corner” on Saturday, May 4th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon in front of Fitzgerald’s Foods located at 710 Hopmeadow Street.

All residents are invited to stop by to share their thoughts with Rep. Hampton regarding state issues and community matters, as well as to seek assistance with any problem they may be having.

"Transparency, accessibility and accountability are very important to me. As Simsbury's State Representative, I want to make it as easy as possible for people to come see me and share their opinions, ideas, and discuss their needs,” said Hampton.

Rep. Hampton will be available to discuss any issue or concern on the minds of 16th district residents.

"My most important duty is to make sure that I remain in touch with and am easily accessible to the 23,000 residents that I am proud to represent," Hampton added." Their input is critical. I want to know how they feel about what is happening at the state level and I want to be able to connect with people to make sure they know of the many ways that I can help them."
