The Simsbury Free Library is hosting a Tuesday Afternoon Movie today at 1 p.m. This week the movie will be Waste Land, a 2011 Academy Award nominee for best feature documentary.
The Ethel Walker School is hosting a Simsbury Open Studio Art Exhibit this month. The public is invited to view the work of 8 Simsbury Open Studio painters and ceramic artists in the school gallery weekdays starting at 9 a.m. There will also be an Opening Reception from 4:00 to 7:00 on Thursday, October 18.

There's always room for improvement, and the Simsbury Public Library English Conversation Group for adults aims to help anyone wishing to improve their spoken English. Classes will be held Tuesday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Friends Café on the upper level of the Library.
