Alleged Drunk Driver Nearly Smashes Into Police Cruiser
The following arrest information was supplied by the Southbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Robin Myers, 52, of Terryville, was charged with DUI and failure to drive to the right on March 17 at approximately 6:05 p.m. after she crossed the center line and nearly struck a police cruiser head on while traveling northbound on Strongtown Road in Southbury.
When questioned Myers said she was coming from a bar and heading to work.
Myers was released on $500 non-surety bond and is schedule to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on March 27.
