Annual Southbury Memorial Day Parade and Picnic

The Annual Memorial Day Parade and Picnic will begin on May 25 at 11 a.m.

The parade will begin and move down Main Street South, and then move over to Ballantine Park for the free Family Day Picnic, which will open at noon.

The schedule is as follows:

• 12 to 2 p.m. – Face Painting
• 12 to 4 p.m. – Music and Games from “DJ Kenny”
• 12 to 5 p.m. – Moonwalks from “All 4 Fun”
• 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Entertainment provided by “T-Bone” will include beach balls, hula hoops, limbo sticks and more.

Boy Scout Troop 1607 will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and drinks throughout the day.
